Founded in early 2021, the Center for Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance Research (Center for ESG Research) aims to be a central hub for research on ESG imperatives at National Tsing Hua University (NTHU).
Drawing on the unique resources available at NTHU and Hsinchu, affiliated faculty and researchers at the Center for ESG Research strive to promote rigorous, balanced research on a wide range of issues related to modern firms’ impact on environmental sustainability, human development, social change (see Current Research Areas). We render our work relevant through close cooperation with partners across different sectors. Through theoretically-informed and empirically-substantiated research, we plan to contribute original and critical insights to the broader policy debate in the government and the private sector.
